I received a payment request from Bookeo, what is that?
All of our programs are booked through our scheduling software, Bookeo. When you enroll with us through the Microsoft Forms, we will manually copy your registration into the Bookeo software for management of the programs and payments.
How are you different than other swim clubs or swimming lessons?
Our Club focuses primarily on YOUR goals. We offer both Master’s (Adult programming) as well as children’s programming all at the same time. So you can swim while your kids swim!
Our coaches specifically create a more structured “work-out-style” practice and if you have aspirations to go to the competitive level, we can help get you there! Our club also focuses on swimmer-specific feedback per practice where our coaching mandate is that if they are not mentally tired by the time they finish a practice, then they did not give enough feedback.
We have worked with athletes of all kinds from competitive swimming locally to small competition triathlon’s and even to full Iron Man races.
How do I join and pay?
Please click on the “Register Now” button on the main page, then fill out all of the required information for your swimmers on our Microsoft Form. Afterwards, please allow a few days for your application to process. Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation for each swimmer followed by a link to make payment for either the deposit or the full price. (Payment plans are available if balance is over $500 per family)
Where are you located?

Does my child have to be a good swimmer to participate?

Are parents allowed to watch practice?
Yes, parents are a big part of the each swimmer’s development. However, it is very important that you only observe your swimmer during practice. We want to limit parent interaction during practice, so that the coaching staff is able to keep full attention on the swimmers. We ask that all parents and siblings sit in the designated seating areas. ALTERNATIVELY, instead of sitting on the side-lines and watching your kids swim, why don’t you hop into the water as well? All of our programs run at the same time in order for the whole family to get involved in swimming!
If I miss a practice, can I come to another group for a make up?
If a practice is missed for any reason, a credit will not be issued. However, you/your swimmer are eligible to attend another “make-up session” within that season’s programming. If you do not attend a make-up session, you will not be credited for that session.
It is my first time with a competitive swim club, should I buy a bathing suit or a swim suit. What’s the difference?
Excellent question! Most people do not know that there is a difference between a swim suit and a bathing suit. Bathing suits are designed to be worn a few times before they start to fade, become see-through or fall apart. A swim suit is designed to be worn for multiple seasons without fading or deteriorating.
Can I take pictures or record my swimmer during practice?
No, we do not allow videotaping or pictures of swimmers during practice. The City of Ottawa prohibits photography in their swimming facilities.
What if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, please have your swimmer ready to swim as soon as possible. Once your swimmer is ready, send them to his or her coach for instructions.
Are parents allowed on deck?
Parents and siblings are not allowed on the pool deck at any time. This is to ensure the safety of our swimmers while they are in the pool. Parents are welcome to watch their swimmers from the bleachers or their assigned area or they can enrol into our Adult Stroke Improvement (Master’s Programming).
